• Umbrella Walk & Gumbo Gras Timeline Overview:

• Friday, October 27

  • ​Team Set Up can begin starting @8 am. End at 5 pm

  • Shelter #10 is reserved Friday for team set up

  • Security will be provided overnight starting at 6 PM

  • Please e mail info@tucksfoundation.org if you wish to set up on Friday and when we should expect you 

  • Note: We encourage all teams to set up Friday, as much as possible, to avoid Saturday morning set up delays so you can concentrate on cooking

• Gumbo Team Schedule of Events & What to Expect: 

  • 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Teams can arrive and set up. (Earlier the better)

  • 9:00 AM - General admission and Patrons Tent open

  • 11:00 AM - Umbrella Walk “Second Line” begins

  • 11:15 AM - Gumbo Judging Starts (5 Minute Increments) 

  • 11:45 AM - Umbrella Walk Ends

  • 11:45-12:00 AM - Gumbo serving to General Admission

  • 1:00 - 1:30 AM - Gumbo Gras Awards

  • 1:30 AM - Raffle Item winners to be announced

  • 3:00 AM - Umbrella Walk & Gumbo Gras Event Ends

  • 3:30 AM - Clean up, break down
